Is McCain Able?

John McCain, who is lagging in virtually every conceivable category (money, polls, popularity with the press), months after every other major candidate did so, announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States today. I scratch my head.

Ro O quits the Show

In response to Sheryl Crow’s suggestion that we learn to use one square of toilet paper at a time in order to protect our diminishing resources, Rosie O’Donnell said, “Hey Sheryl, have you seen my ass?”

That was Monday. Today it has been annouced that Rosie will be taking her big ass on to other things because, she could not come to terms with ABC on the length of her contract extension. ABC wanted three years, Ro wanted one. Regardless the length of the deal, we can be certain that, in light of the ratings increase enjoyed by The View since her arrival, it was a big ass deal. And so it goes.
